Austrian born Arnie began his career as a bodybuilder and his huge success in this field took him to America. After studying for a business degree Arnie made some good investments which resulted in him being a millionaire by the time he was 22! After some bit part appearances Arnie got his first big break with Conan the Barbarian and the follow up Conan the Destroyer , which are absolutely essential viewing for any Arnie or action film fans. Set in a fantasy land Conan is orphaned at a young age and endures a life of slavery, although he excels at fighting and becomes a gladiator. When sent to the East to further develop his fighting skills, he is released and goes on a killing spree of revenge against his enemies. Back to top Conan the Destroyer Schwarzenegger returns as Conan for this sequel which continues the fantasy world of the first film with lots more sword and sorcery action. An evil wizard is threatening to destroy the planet and Conan must go in search of the magical crystal required to save the world. Grace Jones helps him on his mission as the wild woman Zula. Back to top Commando Colonel Matrix ( Schwarzenegger ) is now retired and lives quietly with his ten year old daughter until she is kidnapped. The kidnapper is an ex Latin dictator who insists that Matrix kills the current President in return for his daughters life, and he will the resume his dictatorship. Deciding to create his own plan rather than follow the one set for him, he goes after the Dictator in a desperate attempt to save his daughter before she is killed. Whilst on the trail of some stolen nuclear weapons, he discovers that his wife is in desperate need of some excitement and has been having an affair. A member of the resistance movement Kyle ( Michael Biehn ) travels back in time to 1984 to rescue Sarah Connor ( Linda Hamilton ) so she can still give birth to the child who will eventually lead the rebels in the 21st Century rebellion against the machines. Unfortunately for both of them the machines send back a Terminator ( Arnold Schwarzenegger ) who is programmed to assassinate Sarah. The machines have still taken over the earth and 10 years since Sarah Connor ( Linda Hamilton ) had to fight a cyborg from the future (and she's currently locked away in a mental hospital for her trouble), and her son John (who will lead the resistance in the future) has become the latest target. As in the last movie the resistance in the future manage to send back a protector for John to fight the 'Terminator'( Arnold Schwarzenegger ) cyborg. Rejecting the advice of the FBI Brewer travels to Columbia to find the terrorist and get his own revenge. Back to top Last Action Hero One of the great movie heroes is LA Cop Jack Slater ( Schwarzenegger ) who is shocked when film fan Danny ( Austin O'Brien ) is transported from the cinema into the movie with his hero Jack Slater by a magic ticket. As they're busy battling the baddies things get even worse, when the baddies get hold of half the magic ticket and enter the real world forcing Jack and Danny to go after them. Back to top Total Recall Sci-fi action movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as 21st century construction worker Doug, who discovers that his identity has been changed by a memory chip being inserted into his brain to ‘create’ his past. Sharon Stone is his wife who has been playing along with his new life to make it seem real.
